Crossing Sensory Boundaries: The Synesthetic Bridge

Hello Members

I am pleased to announce that the 10th Annual conference of the American Synesthesia Association (ASA) is now open for registration.

The Colour Research Society of Canada (CRSC) is co-hosting this ASA conference in collaboration with OCAD University in Toronto.

The conference will take place at OCAD University May 31- June 2, 2013.  We are pleased to announce that we have received a grant from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) in support of this conference and affiliated events.

Please see crossingsensoryboundaries.ca and www.synesthesia.info for more information about the programming.

CRSC members may register for a discounted rate. Please see www.synesthesia.info/ to register.

The rate for early registration has a limited timeframe, so  we hope  CRSC members will take advantage of the opportunity presented.

I'd like to thank Board Members Robin Kingsburgh and David Griffin for their tremendous work in making this possible.

For your information, this opportunity came to us from one of our local events featuring two speakers on Synesthesia.

We look forward to local groups in every province and territory of Canada spearheading CRSC events that help us grow and thrive in our colour research endeavours.

And for your information, we have applied for AIC membership, and will be upgrading to a new web presence over the next few months.

Watch for an announcement regarding our Annual General Meeting soon...

Best regards
Doreen Balabanoff
CRSC President
